Place where Dr U N Bramhachari invented urea stebamine, drug to treat Kala-zar at the then Campbell Medical School at Kolkata. The building was erected in the year 1868 and used as Sealdaha Market. Later incorporated in the hospital
With a humble attempt to explore and highlight the flavours of remote districts of West Bengal, India. Expression of my joy and pleasure during my work at those places.

By chance met this gentleman better known as Fakir Murshed Ali with his prize possession in my office premises on a hot humid summer day.
The man collected that Stick after 9 years of 'fakiri' from riverside of 'Dwarka' near Deucha, Birbhum West Bengal.
